Mid-level Full Stack Java with React - C2H (Contract Remote - FT Hybrid )

Contract type: Initially projected as a 3-month contract-to-hire , but in practice, conversion to full-time takes longer.


We're hiring a full-stack developer (at least 5 years of experience) who enjoys learning quickly, shipping reliable features, and working across Java/Spring Boot on the backend and React.js on the frontend.

Responcibilities

  • Build and enhance user-facing features in React.js (Hooks, components, basic state management.
  • Develop REST APIs and services with Java, Spring, Spring Boot .
  • Work with SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle): queries, simple schemas, and data access.
  • Use Git/GitHub for branching, PRs, and version control.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning) and track work in Jira .
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (exposure to Jenkins preferred).

Qualifications

  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs .
  • JavaScript (ES6+) , React.js fundamentals (Hooks, components, lifecycle, basic performance awareness).
  • HTML5/CSS3 and responsive UI basics
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
