Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to be part of our SoC Architecture – Performance Evaluation team. As a part of this team, you will analyse system scenarios in pre-silicon to improve the performance of our next generation mobile and automotive SoCs. These scenarios include a high performance CPU sub-system, next gen AI and GPU sub-systems, multimedia, connectivity, NoC and memory.


What you will do:

• Analyse SoC architecture for performance bottlenecks and suggest design changes to meet the performance KPIs

• Tune SoC parameters to achieve performance requirements for the end product use cases

• Create and integrate SoC performance models

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand use cases and performance targets

• Optimize performance considering power and area trade-offs.

• Profile post Si devices to characterise system workload and improve model accuracy.


What we expect of you:

• BE/B.Tech or M.S/M.Tech in Electronics/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent. PhD is a plus.

• 4+ years of semiconductor industry experience

• 2+ years of experience in SoC performance analysis in pre or post silicon phase

• Excellent programming skills in C/C++ and python

• Good understanding of computer architecture, bus protocols and performance KPIs

• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills


Good to have:

• Architecture modelling experience – preferably performance modelling in SystemC.

• AXI protocol knowledge.
