Senior Full Stack Developer

(Spring/Grails )

Job Description

Developer Responsibilities

  • Work within an agile team to rapidly deliver software against a highly available application
  • Lead large scale product initiatives with multiple contributing developers of varying seniority
  • Design and develop artifacts from functional designs and user stories
  • Estimate user stories and tasks
  • Refactor existing code to meet current standards and patterns
  • Introduce automated tests for new code

Developer Requirements:

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience with Spring or related technologies
  • Advanced level knowledge of Java
  • Advanced level knowledge of Spring and Hibernate configuration/patterns
  • Advanced level knowledge of SQL and query tuning
  • Advanced level knowledge of object oriented patterns
  • Advanced with designing and maintaining large scale APIs
  • Knowledge of SPA frameworks, preferably React
  • Knowledge of messaging patterns and tools (eg. RabbitMQ, Spring Integration)
  • Proven experience delivering end to end software artifacts within a large code base
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
