Job Description: SAP Event Management Consultant

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Event Management (SAP EM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP EM configuration, integration, and event handling, with hands-on experience in managing qRFCs, IDOCs, and HANA queries. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to handle unexpected events, and the capability to design and support scalable event management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain the SAP Event Management (SAP EM) module.
  • Manage and troubleshoot qRFCs to ensure smooth system performance.
  • Work on SAP EM integration with inbound and outbound IDOCs.
  • Design and implement Rule Sets, Event Handlers, and Parameter setup.
  • Configure and handle unexpected events within SAP EM.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries in SAP HANA for reporting and monitoring purposes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide support for SAP EM incidents, enhancements, and performance optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong experience in SAP Event Management module.
  • Hands-on knowledge of IDOC inbound and outbound processes.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining qRFCs.
  • Expertise in Rule Sets, Event Handlers, and Parameters configuration.
  • Proficiency in SQL with the ability to develop queries in SAP HANA.
  • Experience in configuring and managing unexpected events.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
