About the Role

The position of Quality Analyst within the Life and Health Re team will report to the Testing COE Lead. The Quality Analyst is responsible to evaluate software applications or systems to identify defects, bugs, or inconsistencies that could affect the user experience or functionality. You will design and execute test plans, develop automated testing scripts, and analyze test results to verify that software products meet quality standards and fulfill user requirements. In this capacity, you'll collaborate closely with the Expert Test Lead to develop Automation and Functional tests. Additionally, you'll be responsible for constructing Performance and Load tests to evaluate all applications within the Life and Health Re landscape.

Responsibilities

Design and develop manual and automation test scripts in accordance with established standards.Collaborate effectively with developers and business analysts to create test solutions.Prioritize continuous improvement in QA practices, leveraging appropriate testing tools and techniques, including test automation.Uphold quality standards as directed by testing leadership and ensure adherence to technical and testing protocols.Monitor all QA activities, test outcomes, defect occurrences, conduct root cause analyses, and identify areas for enhancement, implementing necessary process improvements.Optimize tool utilization to maximize QA effectiveness, encompassing functional, performance, and security testing tools.Explore and support the adoption of new tools in the market through Proof of Concepts (POCs), aligning with diverse business needs.Engage with the Development team to craft and implement QA strategies and test plans that surpass departmental and corporate quality objectives.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, a related field, or business administration.1-3 years of field experience.Highly motivated candidate capable of effective communication across global boundaries.Proficient in technical aspects with a strong customer focus.Familiarity with Agile methodology and project management.Basic understanding of life and health insurance and reinsurance industry.Experience in test automation for Web, API, ML model validations, and mobile applications is a plus.Familiarity or prior experience with tools such as Selenium (using Java/Python), Cucumber, Cypress, Rest Assured, and Postman.Knowledge or previous experience in performance testing including tools like Load Runner, JMeter is a plus.Proficient hands-on skills in Java and Python are an added advantage.
