Manager- Compliance/Licensing

I. Experienced mortgage professional with 5-7 years of strong background in compliance, must have at least 3 years of recent compliance experience in licensing and working with NMLS and state agencies
II. Facilitate process to acquire state mortgage licenses for Mortgage Servicing and Originations processes across all entities (Philippines, India, and US).
III. Coordinate with state regulators, legal counsel, executive management, and licensing vendors to provide all necessary information and resolve outstanding issues.
IV. Acquire and maintain state mortgage licenses for branch locations as well as designation of branch managers.
V. Acquire and maintain state mortgage licenses for the company and its various subsidiaries as well as designation of various company officers and directors.
VI. Review and identify licensing prerequisites on a state by state basis.
VII. Facilitate application submission via the Nationwide Multi State Licensing System (NMLS) including requesting supporting documentation.
VIII. Serve as the Governance function to ensure appropriate licensure is met for all Mortgage Servicing and Originations processes across all entities.
IX. Assist in special projects as needed
Soft Skills :
I. Experience in working effectively across cultures in Philippines, India, and the United States
II. Strong computer skills as well as excellent organization and time management skills
III. Ability to work closely with managers, mortgage loan originators, and compliance personnel
IV. Proficient problem solver
V. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical Skills:
1. Intermediate to Expert level proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor degree from reputed business school, (law graduate would be an added advantage)

Position Summary :
We are looking for a candidate who has an overall work experience of 5-7 years with a strong background in compliance with at least 3 years of recent compliance experience in licensing and working with NMLS and state agencies. This role is for an individual contributor who will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining the companies, including its various subsidiaries, state mortgage licenses. In addition, the role will serve as the licensing governance point of contact to ensure the company, including its various subsidiaries are in compliance with state licensing requirements. Individual must be able to exhibit the ability to effectively coordinate with state regulators, legal counsel, executive management, and licensing vendors to provide all necessary information and resolve outstanding issues.
