Role Overview:
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced College Counselor to guide high school students through the undergraduate application process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global higher education systems, admissions trends, and the unique challenges faced by students aiming for top-tier universities.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling: Work one-on-one with high school students to understand their goals, strengths, and aspirations, and provide personalized guidance.
Application Strategy: Develop tailored application strategies, including university selection, major choice, and crafting a compelling narrative.
Essay Guidance: Assist students in brainstorming, editing, and refining personal statements, supplemental essays, and other application materials.
Admissions Expertise: Stay updated on admission trends, requirements, and deadlines for universities in the US, UK, and other popular destinations.
Profile Building: Advise students on extracurricular activities, internships, summer programs, and other initiatives to strengthen their applications.
Parent Communication: Regularly update parents on their child’s progress, milestones, and next steps in the application process.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 5+ years in college counseling, education, or related fields.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of undergraduate admissions processes, particularly in the US (experience with UK, Canada, and other countries is a plus).
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with high school students and their families.
Organizational skills to manage multiple students and deadlines simultaneously.
Mindset:
Empathy and patience to understand and support students' needs.
Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with IB, IGCSE, and CBSE curricula.
Prior experience with top-tier college admissions (either personally or professionally).
