About the Role We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai . This role focuses on building scalable backend services and AI-driven integrations using Python and Fast API. You will design and implement secure APIs, integrate with AI/LLM systems, and optimize performance for enterprise-grade applications. While this role does not involve building IDEs, familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding environments (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, VS Code with AI plugins) will be considered a plus. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using Python (Fast API, async). Build and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend integration (React-based). Integrate with AI/LLM APIs (Open AI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.). Optimize backend for performance, scalability, and security . Implement authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC). Manage databases (Postgres/My SQL) and caching (Redis). Maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing (pytest), and observability . Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver features end-to-end. Mentor mid-level developers and enforce best practices. Requirements 7–9 years professional experience in backend development. Strong expertise in Python 3.x, Fast API, async/await, and modular system design . Hands-on with databases, caching, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Strong knowledge of API design, system architecture, and performance optimization . Experience integrating AI/LLM systems into backend workflows. Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills. Nice-to-Have Familiarity with Windsurf, Cursor, or VS Code AI plugins (usage experience). Knowledge of Graph QL or Web Sockets for real-time features. Exposure to enterprise Saa S, developer tools, or security platforms .
