Job Requirements The solution architect will play a key role on leading and delivering the analysis, design, and deployment of internal and external solutions for our various Legal and Physical Security platforms and projects. This role is viewed as an expert in complex application environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Recognized subject matter expert. Delivers technical leadership and can mentor others in the organization. May provide work direction / general guidance to other team members as a technical leader. The Solution Architect (SA) supports the global IT initiatives for applications within the specified business process area. Performs leading-edge work and develops new approaches/solutions. Scope/Categories * Role will report to the IT Sr Product Platform Manager for HR and Legal. Role will not have any direct reports. * Business Client: Legal Directors, Legal Managers, Compliance Team, Global Security Managers, Lawyers, Paralegals, etc. * Key Internal Interfaces: Business Partner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Enterprise Architect. * Key External Interfaces: Consultants & 3rd Party provider Solution Architect Responsibilities * Designing, Reviewing, implementing, and supporting IT platform solutions along with other peers to support HR, Legal and Physical Security business areas. * Designing, reviewing, and implementing integrations between systems. * Ensuring that technical resources are designed, developed, and deployed in a scalable and secure manner, while also ensuring that they meet the business requirements and align with the overall technology strategy. * Drive technology advisory at scale for capability area and Kimberly Clark * Partnering with other solution architects and Enterprise Architects on the technology roadmap execution. * Maintains in-depth understanding of technical landscape for capability area. * Technically overseeing and maintain the ~30 Legal and Physical Security systems, getting familiar the main systems (~10). * Work closely to the Legal/Physical Security Product Owners and Business Partners. * Working with developers to help drive their implementations for within the specified business process areas. * Stablish an internal networking and partnership with other IT areas, especially Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security and Data Science teams. * Working with 3rd part vendors on new deployments, troubleshooting on existent tools, RFPs and benchmarking. * Join the weekly Change Advisory Board meetings to advise on the HR/Legal changes. * Join various internal technology forums to stay up to date with initiatives and assess possible impacts/solutions for business area. * Staying up to date with the latest trends and relevant technologies,  providing guidance on how they can be leveraged to improve the overall IT and business strategy. * Providing guidance and leadership to more junior resources on best practices, knowledge transfer and work direction. * Effectively communicating with peers and leaders to ensure that technical resources are meeting business requirements and aligning with the overall technology strategy. Qualifications * Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience in the field * 8 – 15 years of total experience in which 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in software architecture and design as a Solution Architect or equivalent. * Familiarity with programming logic and a good understanding of various ways of integrating data between systems. * Webservice and API experience and understanding of tools such as Postman, Oxygen to quickly test an API. * Understand concept of securing data within applications and within integrations.   * Experience of building diagrams to document systems’ architecture * SQL – Good SQL Server concepts and programming abilities. * Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth, X509 certificates, SSH, PGP encryption, SAML 2.0, etc. * Good analytical skills for trouble shooting issues.     * Fluent English – comfortable to join and speak in conference calls and presentations. * Strong ability to communicate relevant information clearly and concisely. * Collaborative working style with a strong focus on disciplined execution and results Nice to have/Plus * Data Analytics skills would be a plus, including the knowledge in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), basic programming in Python, Power BI ability to handle RLS (row level security), experience on data lake tools, etc. * Knowledge and/or experience on Azure platform, CI/CD. * Understanding of Microsoft Platform such as PowerApps, Viva Engage, Purview * Knowledge in Workday to understand HR data concepts and how to build integrations (EIB, CCW), calc fields, reports, understanding of security, * Knowledge/experience with Legal and Physical security systems in the market, such as Onit, Anaqua, Onguard, Exterro, Everbridge, ISOS, TDS, Milestone, etc. * Experience with any of our Legal systems would be differential, such as  Onit, Anaqua, Onguard, Exterro, Everbridge, ISOS, TDS, Milestone and other big players.
