Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Backend/Full Stack Developer at CYC Group. As a Backend/Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing server-side code, designing databases, and collaborating with front-end developers. This is an on-site role located in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

Job Role:Design APIs, DB, Queues, monitoring for micro services.Writing, deploying and managing micro services.Migrate existing components into distributed micro service architecture.Integration with presentation / aggregation layer.AWS Cloud ( Manage Server )API integration with 3rd parties.Unit test cases, automationDatabase optimisationDesign of highly concurrent backend architectureHandling high traffic dataStrong experience in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Full-Stack DevelopmentProficiency in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)Knowledge of database technologies and SQLExperience with version control systems, such as GitFamiliarity with agile development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlinesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience:

B.E./B.Tech (CS)/ MTECH from tier – l engineering institutes or universities with 2-4 years of work experience.A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.Worked in a large scale consumer product.Must have worked on distributed and micro service architecture.Very strong fundamentals on scale/ performance/ memory optimisation.Must have experience in Java+ Angular/ReactMust have production knowledge of Tomcat / Jetty / UndertowMust have worked on Kafka, Elastic SearchMust have knowledge in Mysql ( any RDBMS )Preferred - experience in handling high traffic apps.Preferred - experience in MongoDB, Redis , CouchDb, Dynamo DB, Riak.Preferred - experience in Asynchronous Programming ( Actor model concurrency / RxJava / Executor Framework )Preferred - experience in AWS / Google / Azure Cloud ( Managing , monitoring and hosting servers )
