Firmware R&D Engineer at Adiva Tech Services Pvt. Ltd.
located in New Delhi.
This role is pivotal in developing, integrating, and optimizing firmware for our advanced AI security camera systems powered by any chipset.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, AI integration, and a passion for creating robust, efficient firmware solutions.
The Firmware R&D Engineer will be responsible for debugging embedded software, developing and testing software, working with electrical engineering teams, and understanding and optimizing ARM Architecture.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the firmware development lifecycle from concept to deployment for our AI security camera systems. Integrate AI models onto the (mention chipset) chipset, ensuring efficient and seamless operation. Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize the performance and power efficiency of the security cameras. Conduct functional, performance, and stress testing of the firmware to ensure reliability and stability. Implement advanced security features, including secure boot and encryption, to protect against unauthorized access. Develop and maintain firmware documentation, ensuring clear and comprehensive technical guides. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, AI specialists, and product managers, to align on project goals and timelines.Manage over-the-air (OTA) updates to continuously improve the firmware with new features and security patches.
Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.Proficient in C/C++ programming languages.Experience with AI integration in embedded systems and knowledge of machine learning frameworks.Strong understanding of hardware-software interactions and optimization techniques.Familiarity with Linux, Free RTOS, or similar embedded operating systems.Experience with secure boot, encryption technologies, and other hardware security measures.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with security camera systems or IoT devicesDebugging and Software Development skillsKnowledge of the chipset or similar AI-enabled processors.Experience in developing and deploying OTA updates.Familiarity with video processing and image signal processing technologies.Experience in embedded software and ARM ArchitectureStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsKnowledge of software development life cycleExcellent written and verbal communication skills
