Product Change Analyst 3

The Impact You’ll Make Implements and maintains an Engineering Change Notice System. These changes will include product improvements, repairs, and new product development. Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented. What You’ll Do Understand the incoming obsolescence issue raised in the Product Lifecycle Management platform (iPLM) Perform assessment of the reported obsolescence issue by working with suppliers, manufacturers and other internal cross functional teams to get the root cause of the proposed change. Identify best possible alternate solution (alternate part or additional inventory) for the obsolete part. Perform FFF and inventory analysis for the obsolete component. Work with different manufacturers, suppliers, distributors to get technical details and clarifications for the obsolete and replacement parts. Get material quotes from open market suppliers, brokers for hard-to-find components. Communicate the findings to engineering teams and work with engineering teams to address any questions and queries from engineering. Who We’re Looking For Years of Experience : 5-7 years Job Experience : Experience in component , obsolescence management, Engineering Change management, Inventory Management, planning, Educational Qualification : Any Bachelor’s Degree, Equivalent Diploma Mandatory Skills required to perform the job: Knowledge of electronic components, parameters, life cycle, Bill of materials Knowledge and experience in Life cycle analysis, Product Change Notification, Component Obsolescence management. Experience in life cycle analysis, Product change notification, Component Obsolescence management Experience in working with component engineering tools such as Silicon Experts, IHS 4D Caps Online, IHS 4D CAPS etc Experience in working with advanced MS Excel, MS Access & MS Word Very good communication skills (written & verbal) in English. Preferred Qualifications Desirable Skill: Knowledge of SAP or any ERP or PLM tools.
