ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description for Aircrew Functional Tester – (5 to 8 Years Experience):

Responsible for testing web, mobile and desktop applications. Having strong testing expertise in airline domain for functional, integration and User acceptance testing. Experience in product implementation and integration testing by analysing test impacts and maintain test coverage.

 Key Experience: 

• Good understanding and hand on experience of testing airline domain applications / product implementations

• Working with business SME and product architect to define end to end test strategy.

• Experience in preparing test cases and test data to validate the product functionality.

• Experience in coordinating with business users during UAT cycles.

• Experience in Agile sprint meetings and scrum ceremonies.

• Execute test cases, raise defects, and retest defects.

• Conduct peer review of test scenarios and test cases.

• Testing of Airline functionality such as

o Experience in testing Flight planning, Fleet management, Crew management, FMP Rules, Airline regulatory and Compliance rules.

o Crew at minimum cost while maintaining flight reliability, schedule integrity and adhering to civil, company and union-negotiated rules as well as meeting agreed upon crew 'quality of life' needs.

o Knowledge in testing Flight crew, pre-flight, flight plan, ATS plan, NOTAM, DGR, NOTOC

o Knowledge / experience in testing of Crew tracking, Fuel calculation, Flight watch, weather monitoring, FCOM, FDM, OM, TJPL charts, AIND charts, AOM charts etc.

• Experience in testing cloud implementation and product upgrades.

• Experience in integration testing of upstream and downstream of airline applications.

• Participate into defect triage including stakeholders and track faster resolution.

• Prepare and leverage test data reusability approach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on end-to-end testing process, and proven ability in writing test scenarios and test cases

• Prior experience of preparing test case and test data, for web/cloud platforms/applications of airline domain

• Direct experience on testing Desktop, Web & Mobile applications
