Role & Job Responsibilities:

US Compliance and Taxation:

  • Handling quarterly and yearly returns and addressing legal notices.

Expense Management:

  • Managing employee and consultant expenses efficiently.

Accounts Receivables/Invoice Processing/Client/Supplier Management:

  • Overseeing monthly invoicing, cash applications, collections, client communications, dispute resolutions, and generating A/R aging reports.

Accounts Payables/Bills Processing/Vendor Management:

  • Handling bill processing, maintaining A/P aging reports, and managing vendor communications and escalations.

Workers Compensation:

  • Coordinating activation and termination of states with the insurance company in alignment with employee status changes.

Accounting Software:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.


Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in QuickBooks for daily accounting operations.
  • Proficient in timesheets, invoicing, billing, and month & year-end processes.
  • Competent in accounts payable/receivable, receipt & payments, and general ledger.
  • Skilled in account reconciliations and producing financial reports and statements.
  • Ability to establish effective practices for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting client financial information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good hands-on experience with Excel & Google Sheets.


Additional Skills:

  • Expertise in US accounting, payroll processing (including activations, terminations, attendance and leave management, and state and federal taxes), and timesheet management.
  • Familiarity with US compliance regulations and workers' compensation.
  • Proficiency in bank reconciliations (bank recon) and Indian accounting practices including bookkeeping and payroll management.
  • Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks and ADP (Automatic Data Processing).
