The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Job Description: Use electrical team inputs (cable list etc.,) to understand source and destination points for cables, including end connection inside cabinet where applicable Analyze and segregate various cables considering EMC classes Identify exact source and destination points in mechanical structure 3D Perform and implement cable design and cable routing optimally in UG NX Routing, considering the cable installation and assembly aspects and constraints Perform cable routing considering EMC & safety requirements Consider support structure, space constraints within mechanical structure during cable routing Ensure Optimal path for the cable installation Interact and collaborate with various stakeholders (electrical/mechanical design teams, cross-functional teams etc.,) to understand project need Perform self-check and peer-check and ensure cables are routed / terminated according to the design Use 3D cable routing information and develop installation drawings as needed Ensure length of cable according to the cable routing done in NX/3D is enough for installation, and not too long or not too short Support and provide 3D cable routing data to prepare work instructions Knowledge on MS-Excel Macros etc., Desired Qualification & Experience A graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experience in cable design and cable routing Should have experience in designing electrical cabinets and enclosures In-depth knowledge on EMC requirements and electrical international standards Must have done cable design, cable routing in at least 2 full life cycle projects, from concept to realization Hands on experience in electrical UG NX Electrical Routing is must Knowledge on drawing standards and methods Understanding of electrical components and wiring schematics Good knowledge on cable and cable harnessing Understanding off electrical systems and layouts Knowledge of mechanical CAD systems and tools will be an added advantage Should have handled review and quality aspects of cable routing Familiarity in manufacturing and cable installation practices Fundamental knowledge on electrical systems and requirements Knowledge on Product Data Management systems, specifically Team Center
