Payroll ManagementProcess monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in earnings, deductions, and benefits.Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of employee compensation data.Calculate statutory deductions like PF, ESI, TDS, PT, Gratuity, and LWF.Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement.Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.ComplianceEnsure compliance with all statutory laws and regulations, including but not limited to:Provident Fund (PF)Employee State Insurance (ESI)Professional Tax (PT)Income Tax (TDS)Shops & Establishment ActFactories ActFile monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns (PF, ESI, etc.).Liaise with government authorities and auditors for inspections or audits.Maintain and regularly update labor law registers and statutory records.Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of licenses and registrations.Documentation & ReportingPrepare and submit payroll and compliance reports to management.Maintain employee records related to appointments, exits, compensation, and statutory compliance.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.SkillsStrong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory obligations.Experience with payroll software (e.g., GreytHR, ADP, or similar).Excellent Excel and data management skills.Strong attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.Experience working with multi-state payroll or in a company with a large workforce.Certification in Payroll Management or Compliance (preferred, not mandatory).
