L1: Windows Administration


● Good knowledge of Windows/Linux Administration and troubleshooting.
● Exposure to VPN, Network connectivity issues, User access.
● Good understanding of how to troubleshoot Application related issues.
● Good understanding/knowledge to create Documentations.
● Fast learner.
● Knowledge in Azure is an advance.
● Scripting knowledge i.e. Powershell, Windows script.
● Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS) and the Microsoft server environment.
● Knowledge in Virtualisation.
● Monitor and maintain Windows Server operating system.
● Familiarity with networking topology concepts.
● Good to have at least 1 Azure certification (Administrator, Developer or Architect)
● 1+ years of relevant work experience with Cloud administration / automation
(Knowledge).
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Troubleshooting technical problems on a 1st line support.
● Identifying the issue and addressing /escalating the issue to the right SPOC and work
with relevant SPOC to publish RCA.
● Monitoring and Alerting will be BAU activities.
● Participate in escalations and outage bridges. Ensure accurate outage status alerts are
actioned on a timely basis.
● Document SoP of the Environment.
● Monitor overall system and infrastructure availability.
● Ensures that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained/followed to ensure
effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
● Participate in upgrades needed to maintain service levels.
● Participates in DR/BCP activities of the cloud setup.
● Reports the activities/challenges faced on a day-to-day basis. And escalate the
impact/impact and communicate accordingly
