Job DescriptionOur client, a fresh produce distributor, is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Power BI Analyst with an expertise in DAX skillsets to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will work with stakeholders and the global data analyst to understand their needs and will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and leveraging data analytics techniques to deliver actionable insights that support strategic initiatives.This is a remote position. The selected candidate will be working EST hours.Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements

Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement

Translate business needs into actionable requirements and specifications for data-driven solutions

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights

Design and create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to communicate key findings and performance metrics

Ensure that visualizations are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with business requirements

Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to create compelling and informative visuals

Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decision-making

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights, gather feedback, and drive consensus on actionable recommendations

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems and reports

Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices

Actively participate in knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring to foster a culture of learning and innovation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or certification in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred

Proven experience (7 years) in business analysis, data analysis, and data visualization

Expertise with data visualization tools, especially Power BI and DAX

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX, or R for data manipulation and analysis

Experience with the development of data pipelines in Azure Data Factory is a plus

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices

Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data management best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
