Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner located in Chennai- Kilpauk. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for HR Payroll, HR policies, employee relations, labor and employment law, and performance management.


Responsibilities:


1.          Payroll Management:

•           Process payroll for employees accurately and timely.

•           Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll processing.

•           Handle payroll queries from employees promptly and professionally.

•           Prepare payroll reports as required by management.


2.          Office Administration:

•           Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

•           Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

•           Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance and repairs.

•           Assist in organizing company events and meetings.

•           Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.


3.          Assisting in Recruitment :

•           Support the HR team in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.

•           Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.

•           Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.


4.          Assisting in Performance Management System (PMS):

•           Aid in implementing and monitoring the performance management system.

•           Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.

•           Maintain accurate records related to performance evaluations.


5.          Assisting in Employee Engagement Activities:

•           Participate in planning and organizing employee engagement initiatives.


6.            Training and Development:

·               Assist in identifying training needs and developing training programs for employees.

·               Coordinate training sessions and workshops, both internal and external.

·               Track training attendance and evaluate training effectiveness.

·               Support employees in their professional development efforts.


Requirements:

•           Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's in Human Resources (MA HR). OR MBA in HR

•           Proven experience as an HR Payroll Executive, HR Administrator, or similar role.

•           Proficiency in payroll software/systems.

•           Sound knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

•           Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

•           Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

•           Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

•           Attention to detail and accuracy.
