About the Job:

Birlasoft is seeking a highly skilled AX Finance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX and possess a deep understanding of financial management processes. The AX Finance Consultant will work closely with clients to analyze their business requirements and implement tailored solutions to optimize their financial operations.


Title: MS Dynamics AX Finance Consultant

Location: Noida/Pune/Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Coimbatore

Educational Background:

  • Postgraduate or any other professional qualification


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis**: Work with clients to understand their financial processes and requirements, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Solution Design**: Design and implement Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions to address client needs in areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
  • Configuration and Customization**: Configure AX finance modules and customize functionality to align with client-specific financial processes.
  • Data Migration**: Assist in data migration activities, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems to AX.
  • Training and Support**: Provide training to end-users and support staff on AX finance modules, ensuring they are equipped to use the system effectively.
  • Testing and Validation**: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the solution meets client requirements and functions as expected.
  • Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions, including process flows, configuration settings, and user guides.
  • Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on the latest AX features and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Collaboration**: Work closely with technical consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX, specifically in financial management.
  • Proven experience in AX implementation, configuration, and support in a financial context.
  • Proficiency in AX finance modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
  • Strong knowledge of AX data structures, forms, reports, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and reporting tools such as SSRS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX certification.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
