Floor Coordinator/Doctor Coordinator Hospital Operations

II. JOB PURPOSE
To assist in smooth running of In-Patient Department & helping patients thereby improving effective IPD services.
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
- Meet all new Patients within 1 hour of admission (patients admitted after 6PM to be met next day morning) and introduce self as one point of contact for any issues during their stay. As Floor coordinators are assigned at the time of admission.
- Orient all new admissions to the floor structure & important service numbers.
- Meet with the Floor RMO & Nurse TL and introduce self as the 'floor coordinator assigned to the patient' and coordinate for the day to day operations.
- Share the details of updates / Issues pertaining to assigned patients, in the morning meeting.
- Ensure to log feedbacks / concerns / issues of all assigned patients in the system. The target on this is 100% compliance.
- Coordinate with respective stakeholders / HODs of various departments such as Nursing, Medical Admin, support services for resolution of issues raised by the patients and ensure timely closure of the same.
- Coordinate Diagnostic Tests, procedures, OT for the patients and ensure financial clearance of the same.
- Meet all patients planned for discharge a day before and explain them all the formalities pertaining to discharge.
- Coordinate for the discharges with the designated discharge coordinator.
- Ensure planned discharges for the day are updated in the system by Nursing, and the list is circulated to all the concerned.
- Keep track of the outstanding on day to day basis.

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
Geaduate
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in Hospital Operations in a good healthcare facility.
Behavioural Skills
- Environment, Patient Safety and unique Healthcare Quality Management principles.
- Service Excellence.
Technical Skills
- Computer Literacy, with expertise in Excel and Power Point.
- Knowledge of other statistical software tools.
- Analytical bent of mind.
- Quality Management in Healthcare.
- Thorough knowledge of Healthcare.
- In Depth knowledge of Medical Delivery Systems and Patient care.
Language Skills
English & Hindi
