Location: Remote
Straive is looking for an experienced System Engineer with a strong background in Switching & wireless technologies. The role involves system-level design, integration, and optimization with a focus on wireless communication networks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in wireless protocols, architecture, troubleshooting, and system switching with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain wireless system architectures (4G/5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, etc.).
- Manage major role switching in wireless systems with a focus on high reliability and minimal disruption.
- Perform system-level testing, validation, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple layers of wireless communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and network engineers) to ensure seamless integration.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend enhancements.
- Document system configurations, changes, and technical procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors/Masters in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in wireless systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience with wireless switching technologies, RF concepts, and protocols.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture (LTE/5G, GSM, WLAN, VoIP).
- Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or equivalent manufacturer certifications (Aruba, HPE, Juniper).
- Proficiency in system design tools, network simulators, and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with handover, roaming, and system upgrades with minimal downtime.
