Primary Care Physician

- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Diagnosing and treating various acute and chronic illnesses
- Developing personalized care plans and providing ongoing medical management
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies
- Providing routine vaccinations and immunizations
- Offering counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention
- Referring patients to specialists when necessary
- Managing and coordinating care for patients with multiple health issues
- Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of residency program in family medicine internal medicine or primary care
- Board certification in primary care specialty
- State medical license and DEA registration
- Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care
- Understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
- Adherence to evidencebased practice and clinical guidelines
- Proficiency in using medical technology and equipment
