Role & responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely rectification.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Support commissioning and calibration of electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in upgrading and modifying electrical installations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians for smooth operations.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimize downtime.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 35 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with preventive and breakdown maintenance practices
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts / site locations as required
  • Safety-conscious with adherence to industry regulations
