Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript fundamentals and hands-on experience in automation frameworks like Playwright, WebDriverIO, or Cypress (JavaScript only). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript. • Work with automation tools/frameworks: Playwright, WebDriverIO, or Cypress. • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define and implement effective testing strategies. • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. • Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution. • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of automated test suites. Mandatory Skills • Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals. • Hands-on experience with at least one: Playwright, WebDriverIO, or Cypress (JavaScript-based). • Knowledge of automation best practices and frameworks. Good to Have • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured). • Knowledge of version control systems (Git). Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.
