We are looking for a talented and driven Email and WhatsApp Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. As a Customer Retention Intern, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic campaigns to engage our audience, drive sales, and increase brand loyalty through email and WhatsApp channels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your creativity and analytical skills to drive growth and impact in a fast-paced D2C environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns from concept to execution, including campaign planning, content creation, segmentation, and scheduling.
- Create compelling and personalized email content, subject lines, and calls-to-action (CTAs) to drive engagement and conversion.
- Segment email lists based on customer data and behaviour to deliver targeted and relevant messaging.
- Monitor email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and other key performance metrics to optimize campaign performance.
- Manage the company's WhatsApp communication strategy, including broadcast messages, customer support inquiries, and transactional messages.
- Implement best practices for WhatsApp marketing, including audience segmentation, message timing, and compliance with WhatsApp policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Design, and Product Development to align email and WhatsApp campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email and messaging marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ months internship experience in email marketing, preferably in a D2C or e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot.
- Experience with WhatsApp Business API and messaging platforms preferred.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through digital channels.
