Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Piping Stress Engineer based on-site in Gurgaon. The Piping Stress Engineer will be responsible for performing stress analysis of piping systems for a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing and evaluating piping flexibility, thermal expansion and other stress factors, preparing stress reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaboration with design teams, participation in project meetings, and providing technical support to engineering staff are also key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

  • Piping Stress Analysis using Caesar II or similar software
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API)
  • Experience in Flexibility Analysis and Thermal Expansion
  • Skills in interpreting and reviewing P&IDs, isometrics, and other engineering drawings
  • Proficiency in multiple piping materials and their properties
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or related industries is a plus
