Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Lead -Nursing Home

Position Type: Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternate weekends; supernumerary hours included

Compensation: Hourly rate negotiable

Location: Woodlands, Southampton

Our client operates a beautiful residential care home, originally built as a grand house meticulously renovated over the years. Bedrooms are elegantly furnished, encouraging residents to personalize their space with cherished items. The home boasts a lounge, dining room, and well-appointed garden for residents and their families to enjoy. With ample parking available, our client is committed to providing a warm and inviting environment for both residents and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to care staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Oversee medication management and administration, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with the management team to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff
  • Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address concerns
  • Lead and participate in staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and evaluate care practices to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed

Requirements
  • NMC registered and Qualified RGN or RMN.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a Nursing Home setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and standards in residential care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting residents' well-being
