Associate Radiologist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and sincere Oral Radiologist to join our team.

As an associate, you will get hands-on experience in various 2D & 3D Imaging techniques used in the Dental and Maxillofacial regions. The candidate will be trained in image processing and analysis (reporting) techniques across the full spectrum of clinical indications for Dental & Maxillofacial radiology. The role will also provide training with cloud-based Dental RIS-PACS system for data management, reporting and communications.

Following the training and calibration, you will be required to perform the allocated tasks independently and with assistance / supervision of other technologists and radiologists on the team.

Radiologist Responsibilities:

• Patient handling, and communication about imaging procedure(s).
• Image acquisition using 2D Radiographic or 3D CBCT unit(s).
• Working with technologists to ascertain image quality, adequate coverage of region of interest and create processed images relevant to clinical indication.
• Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses or analysis.
• Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with clinicians.
• Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses.

Radiologist Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - Dental Surgery (B.D.S).
• Master's degree - Oral Medicine, Diagnosis and Radiology (M.D.S).
• 0 to 2 years post-M.D.S status (with or without prior Clinical Radiology experience).
• Valid and active Dental Council registration.
• Patient management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Superb problem-solving skills.
