KaroStartup, founded in 2020, is a global platform that supports young entrepreneurs. From its humble beginnings as a college project on Instagram, KaroStartup has grown into a thriving community with over 1,000,000 members worldwide. Role Description
This is a remote internship role at KaroStartup. As a Summer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day tasks such as conducting market research, assisting with content creation, supporting community management, and contributing to social media campaigns. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the startup industry and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and talented interns for the summer to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in graphic design, video editing, and content research. The ideal candidates will have a passion for startups, a creative mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
Create visually appealing graphics for social media, websites, and marketing materials using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Develop infographics to summarize startup stories and key entrepreneurial insights.
Collaborate with the content team to produce engaging visuals that complement written articles.
Video Editing:
Edit video interviews and success stories of entrepreneurs using video editing software.
Assist in the creation of promotional videos and social media clips.
Ensure high-quality video production and alignment with KaroStartup’s brand aesthetics.
Content Research:
Conduct research on emerging startups, industry trends, and entrepreneurial success stories.
Gather and verify information from reliable sources to support content creation.
Assist in drafting articles, blog posts, and social media content around startup ecosystems.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Journalism, or related fields.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong research skills and the ability to analyze and synthesize information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in graphic design, video editing, or content creation.
Familiarity with the Indian startup ecosystem.
Strong portfolio showcasing your design and video editing work.
