Electrical Design Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Manager to lead the design and engineering efforts for high-rise buildings, substations, and other civil construction projects within our MEP electrical contracting business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client & Team Collaboration
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and execution teams to understand project requirements and deliver optimal electrical design solutions.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve technical queries.
- Electrical Equipment Design
- Lead the design of electrical systems including switchgears, transformers, panels, and cable layouts for high-rise buildings and substations.
- Monitor and track engineering deliverables including design documents, drawings, and approvals to ensure timely submission and quality compliance.
- Maintain documentation and version control of all design outputs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design within MEP contracting, especially for civil construction projects
Proven experience in high-rise building and substation design
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables under tight timelines
