Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and participate in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) module implementations, ensuring comprehensive

alignment with client business requirements and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

1. Analyze, design, and configure SAP FICO processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts

Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling, to optimize financial operations for clients.

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements, document business processes, and provide

expert recommendations for process enhancements and automation.

1. Manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations, including scoping, blueprinting, realization, testing,

deployment, and hypercare support, while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

1. Design and develop RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects in

coordination with technical teams, ensuring seamless integration within the SAP landscape.

1. Conduct client workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to ensure end users are proficient in SAP

FICO functionalities and process changes.

1. Provide expert post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and applying best-in-class problem-solving techniques

for process improvements and user adoption.

1. Maintain effective client-facing consulting by communicating progress, managing expectations, and building

strong professional relationships to facilitate successful project delivery.

Required Skills

1. SAP S/4HANA Finance FICO : Candidates must possess 5-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance FICO modules, including deep expertise in configuration, customization, and integration of financial accounting and controlling processes. A strong understanding of the end-to-end process flows, period-end activities, and new functionalities within S/4HANA is mandatory. Experience should cover core modules such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, and Internal Orders, ensuring the ability to deliver robust solutions tailored to client needs.

2. Configuration: Demonstrated ability to independently manage and execute complex SAP FICO configurations is required. The role expects comprehensive knowledge in customizing organizational structures, chart of accounts, financial statement versions, and controlling area settings. Candidates should also be adept at configuring tax procedures, automatic postings, and integration settings, as well as troubleshooting configuration issues during implementation and support phases.

1. SAP S/4HANA End-to-End Implementation : Proven expertise in leading or participating in multiple SAP S/4HANA FICO end-to-end implementation projects, from blueprinting to go-live and post-production support.

The candidate must have a clear track record of managing project deliverables, conducting user workshops, performing system testing, and ensuring successful change management across various project stages. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project documentation is a plus.

4. RICEFW: A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing RICEFW objects within SAP projects is essential.

The role requires proficiency in defining functional specifications, working with technical teams on development, and validating the quality of custom reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

Candidates should be comfortable in providing detailed documentation and ensuring all RICEFW components are aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

5. Client-facing Consulting: The ideal candidate will have significant experience in client-facing consulting roles, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management skills. This includes the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business terms, manage client expectations, lead workshops, and provide advisory services. The role demands a proactive approach in identifying opportunities for process improvement and fostering long-term client relationships built on trust and expertise.
