Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of professional experience in backend development with strong expertise in .NET Core, microservices, Azure DevOps, relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL), and Git.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core and microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
  • Develop robust RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Effectively manage version control and code repository using Git.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in test and production environments.
  • Document technical designs, procedures, and processes for future reference.

Mandatory Skills

  • .NET Core: Strong proficiency in developing backend services and APIs.
  • Microservices: Experience in designing, building, and deploying microservices-based applications.
  • Azure DevOps: Hands-on expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines, release management, and infrastructure as code.
  • MS SQL & PostgreSQL: Advance knowledge of relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, and database management.
  • Git: Proficiency in version control, branching, merging, and collaboration workflows.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native patterns and best practices.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for backend services and APIs.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
