Job DescriptionThe IFS ERP Functional Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and optimization of the IFS ERP system. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their processes and requirements, providing functional expertise, and ensuring that the ERP system meets the organization's needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IFS ERP and a deep understanding of business processes in relevant industries.Key Responsibilities:Requirement Analysis:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.Translate business needs into functional specifications for the IFS ERP system.System Configuration:Configure IFS ERP modules based on the functional specifications and business processes.Ensure that the system configuration aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.Process Optimization:Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.Design and implement optimized business processes using IFS ERP functionalities.Testing and Validation:Develop and execute test plans to ensure that the configured system meets business requirements.Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).User Training and Support:Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.Provide ongoing support to users during and after the implementation phase.Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.Ensure that all changes and configurations are well-documentedStakeholder Communication:Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure effective communication.Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.Post-Implementation Support:Provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth transition and system adoption.Troubleshoot and resolve any functional issues that arise after go-live.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest IFS ERP features and industry trends.Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.In-depth knowledge of IFS modules and functionalities.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant or similar role, preferably with experience in IFS & ERP implementations.Strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported by ERP systems.Proficiency in configuring ERP modules (e.g., finance, supply chain, HR).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create detailed documentation and training materials.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Certifications:Relevant certifications in ERP systems, such as IFS, SAP, or Oracle, are advantageous.

Additional InformationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical roles related to IFS ERP.At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team leading role.Strong experience with IFS technical tools and frameworks, including IFS Developer Studio.Proven experience in system integration, customization, and development. :Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management.Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or similar.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Experience with web services, APIs, and other integration technologies.Familiarity with IFS ERP architecture and technical components.Certifications:IFS ERP technical certification or other relevant certifications.Preferred Experience:Experience with other ERP systems and technical consulting.Knowledge of business processes in industries such as manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or others relevant to the company.
