Role Overview
The IQC person will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming hardware materials and components used in the production of disinfectant robots. This role involves inspection, testing, and verification of parts to ensure they meet company specifications, supplier agreements, and industry standards. The position requires close collaboration with suppliers, procurement, R&D, and production teams to maintain high product reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming inspections of electrical, and electronic hardware materials (e.g, PCBs).
- Verify compliance of materials against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Use appropriate measuring tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) for inspection.
- Identify and document non-conforming materials and coordinate with suppliers for corrective actions.
- Maintain IQC records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation.
- Provide feedback to Procurement on supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, RoHS, FCC, CE, and other applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 0–5 years of experience in IQC or quality assurance in hardware/electronics manufacturing (robotics or medical devices preferred).
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection methodologies and tools.
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement instruments and electrical testing tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or equivalent quality management systems.
- Good understanding of supplier quality management and corrective action processes.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
