Public Relations Executive

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and proactive Public Relations Executive to join our PR team. The role involves managing media relations, crisis communications, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement while promoting the organization's achievements. The candidate will also work closely with top management to strengthen their personal brand, deliver thought leadership initiatives, and support overall strategic communication goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Media Relations & Communications

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives.
• Pitch stories, secure coverage, and handle press inquiries.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive media contact list.
• Write and distribute press releases, advisories, and other PR materials.
• Craft key messages, speeches, and talking points for top management.
• Prepare top management for media interviews and public appearances.

2. Crisis & Reputation Management

• Develop crisis communication plans and protocols.
• Respond to crises and manage media relations during sensitive situations.
• Mitigate negative publicity and safeguard organizational reputation.
• Monitor organizational reputation across media and digital platforms.

3. Content Creation & Social Media

• Create engaging content for social media, press releases, and campaigns.
• Manage organizational social media presence and respond to queries.
• Develop and execute social media strategies and influencer campaigns.
• Collaborate with influencers and partners to drive outreach objectives.

4. Stakeholder & Influencer Engagement

• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, and partners.
• Develop partnerships and collaborations to support PR initiatives.
• Manage influencer relations and co-create campaigns.

5. Research, Monitoring & Reporting

• Conduct research and analysis to inform PR strategies.
• Track media coverage, measure PR effectiveness, and prepare evaluation reports.
• Monitor industry/media trends and identify opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of PR activities, contacts, and outreach results.
• Work on closing reports of Outreach activities conducted throughout the year.

6. Thought Leadership & Top Management Branding

• Develop strategies to enhance the personal brand and reputation of top management.
• Craft and deliver key messages, speeches, and leadership articles.
• Secure media coverage and speaking opportunities for top management.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven track record in Public Relations with experience in Media Relations, Crisis Communications, Reputation Management, and Stakeholder Engagement.
• Experience in the space industry or related high-profile sectors is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of PR strategies, media dynamics, and industry trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in media relations, social media management, and influencer engagement.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage crises effectively.
• Strategic thinking with strong organizational and analytical skills.
