  • Lead the design, development and maintenance of databases
  • Ensure the performance, security and integrity of databases
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and provide solutions
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures
  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Identify and resolve database-related issues
  • Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends


Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
  • Experience with database security, backup and recovery procedures
  • Familiarity with Cloud Database service like AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, YugaByteDB
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like Aerospike/Cassandra/Couchbase
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities


Educational Qualifications:

Total Yrs of experience: 10-13

Educ:

  • B Tech in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
