Job Description: Synechron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of extensive experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on Banking and Financial Services (IB Domain). You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation test solutions to ensure the quality and performance of our cutting-edge banking applications. Technical Skills (Must Have): Selenium, Java, SQL , BDD (Cucumber/Test NG), Rest Assured, CI/CD, IB Domain Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, and BDD tools such as Cucumber or Test NG. Design and execute automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend services leveraging Rest Assured. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into automation scripts. Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and delivery. Create and maintain SQL queries to validate backend data and test result integrity. Participate in test planning, defect tracking, and reporting to ensure high-quality deliverables. Ensure adherence to automation best practices and standard operating procedures within the IB Domain. Qualifications & Skills: 7+ years of experience in automation testing. Strong proficiency in Selenium Web Driver automation framework. Expert in Java programming for automation scripting. Hands-on experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or Test NG . Solid understanding of SQL for database validation and backend testing. Experience with Rest Assured for API testing. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc.). In-depth knowledge of the Investment Banking (IB) Domain and related processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
