In addition, we have clinics in Defence Colony (South Delhi), Cybercity (Gurgaon), Subhash Chowk (Gurgaon), Golfcourse Road (Gurgaon) and at the Delhi Airports. Our latest addition is a multi-super specialty hospital in Noida (Delhi NCR). We further plan to scale up our existing facilities and also expand into few more geographical areas.Medanta is constantly growing including launch of 'out-of-hospital' divisions which are comprehensive homecare services, pathology and pharmacy.We are looking for a strong Expansion Manager - Opening Pharmacy New Stores will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and finalizing sites for Medanta Pharmacy outlets across assigned regions. The role requires strong expertise in real estate scouting, property assessment, financial evaluation, and end-to-end project coordination in alignment with organizational growth objectives. Location - Gurgaon (HO)Identify and evaluate potential locations through comprehensive market research, including footfall, competition, and business viability assessments.Scout and shortlist properties; conduct financial evaluations covering rental negotiation, ROI, and overall cost analysis.Drive end-to-end site acquisition, ensuring due diligence, documentation, legal verification, and agreement finalization.Coordinate seamlessly with Projects, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams for timely site readiness and launch.Track the expansion pipeline through structured dashboards, trackers, and regular MIS reporting for senior management.Handover finalized sites to the Projects team and monitor on-ground execution including civil work, electrical setup, branding, and compliance activities.Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure timely Go-Live of new outlets.Support strategic expansion plans for new geographies, clusters, and high-potential markets.Maintain comprehensive databases for all potential, active, and closed sites.Ensure all sites meet regulatory, statutory, and organizational standards, including building approvals, fire NOC, signage permissions, and local compliance norms.Prepare approval notes, site comparison matrices, and other documentation required for internal approvals.Key RequirementsGraduate/Postgraduate with 10–12 years of experience in expansion in healthcare/pharma projects.Strong exposure to scouting and finalization of retail properties across multi-city operations.Proven ability to drive high-volume expansion within aggressive timelines.Excellent negotiation skills with a strong understanding of commercial terms and rental benchmarking.Ability to handle end-to-end project coordination from site identification to store launch.Proficiency in MS Excel, project trackers, dashboards, and digital tools.Willingness to travel across assigned geographies.
