Job Overview:

We are an EdTech company with multiple products in the pipeline. As one of our early design hires, you

will have a high level of ownership over our UX research, UX design, and UI design, which encompass

every part of a client's overall experience. A standout candidate will blow us away with their attention

to detail, artistic ability, research skills, and a keen sense of consumer product design. You will work

side-by-side with the founding team and have an immense impact on the direction and success of the

company. You will come up with consistent UI UX across the product keeping in mind the different

stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

User Research: You will work in constant direction with our user base and SME staff to gain

insights into how to best improve the current UX and introduce new functionality.

UX Design: Leveraging insights from user research and data analysis, you will work with the design

team to brainstorm, layout, and iterate UX interactions and flows for mobile and web.

UI Design: Working primarily in Figma, you will design interfaces based on defined UX interactions and

flows. Starting from rough wireframes, and mock-ups, you will thoroughly define how each interface

behaves through a series of edge cases and work hand-in-hand with the engineering team to ensure

visual correctness during implementation.

Storytelling & Presentation: Develop storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design

concepts. Organize designs into information Architecture for effective storytelling of the application

Specifically.

• Craft user flows, wireframes, and mock-ups for our suite of products.

• Keep track of and maintain design assets in an organized fashion.

• Adhere to and enforce UI/UX design best practices and accessibility standard

• Bring the user’s voice into the product creation process by advocating for the human experience.

• Create highly impactful visuals and user-centric designs.

• Contribute to design development throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial explorations to final

design deliverables.

• Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the various products

according to the brand book.

• Work closely with the SME, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure the creation and delivery

of tailored experiences for the digital user.

• In-depth knowledge of UX processes and usability design principles.

• Some experience with design thinking methodologies.

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Previous Edtech experience
