Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Developer (10+ years) to lead the design and development of robust, scalable SAP custom objects and solutions. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in RICEF objects, OO ABAP, interfaces, and HANA-based development. The ideal candidate should be a strong team leader with deep technical knowledge, adherence to development standards, and excellent debugging and performance tuning capabilities.

Mandatory Skills ABAP Senior Developer

  1. SAP ABAP Core Development (10+ years)

  2. Strong hands-on experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow)

  3. Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)

  4. Expertise in developing custom programs using OO design patterns

  5. Enhancement Techniques

  6. Proficiency in BADI, Customer Exits, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework

  7. Interface Development

  8. Hands-on experience with BAPI, RFC, Web Services, ODATA, and EDI/IDOC integrations

  9. Forms Development

  10. Development of Smart Forms and Adobe Forms

  11. Data Dictionary & TMG

  12. Strong understanding of all Data Dictionary objects including Table Maintenance Generator (TMG) events

  13. HANA ABAP

  14. Practical knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and the RAP Framework

  15. Performance Optimization & Debugging

  16. Ability to write optimized code, perform debugging, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning

  17. Development Standards & Documentation

  18. Adherence to development standards, preparation of Technical Design Specifications (TDS), and code reviews

  19. Project Experience

  20. Must have worked on implementation, support, and upgrade projects in SAP

  21. Soft Skills

  22. Strong communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills

  23. Work Mode & Location

  24. Willing to work in hybrid mode from Bangalore and ready for shift-based work
