Purpose of the Role

The process methods & tools lead ensures a consistency and alignment for relevant integration processes, methods and tools across all stakeholders. It includes an overall coordination role that is setting standards and unified settings for all vehicle, features, domains, systems and sub-systems. Therefore the allocation of this role to a Central Systems Integration is reasonable and necessary. A domain representative ensures the stringent implementation within the domains.


Job Responsibilities

Overall business process owner with part of a transverse team.


Desired Candidates Profiles

  • Education: Engineering Graduate in Electrical & Electronics/ Software
  • Relevant Experience & Tasks: 5 years of experience in domain of software system integration in the vehicle
  • Conduct and steer reporting process optimization
  • Develop, introduce & develop methods for continuous reporting optimization
  • Steer & monitor system & toolset optimization and implementation
  • Prepare and conduct trainings to ensure implementation within all domains
  • Ensures alignment across domains with unified process & tools
  • Tracks and resolve domain level tools impediments
  • Overall process coordination and toolset standard setting (recommendation)
  • Ownership of maturity criteria and assessment coordination
  • Contributes to business improvement initiatives/projects and industrial set-up optimization while bringing recurring expertise for business process set-up and re-engineering
  • Identification and communication of critical path and dependencies
  • Provide quantitative value assessment of the improvements and evaluate impacts in terms of change management.
  • Acting as business owner and ensuring that the developed solutions are compliant and in line with evolving business needs
  • Alignment with domain representative to ensure stringent implementation of processes, methods and tools

Skill & competencies

  • Knowledge of automotive EE domains like Chassis/Powertrain/Body Electronics, ADAS, Infotainment, Connected car.
  • Deep knowledge of latest MBSE (Model Based System Engg) tool chain & deployment of the same. e.g requirement management tool like Doors/TRM & Issue management tool like JIRA/XRAY.
  • Knowledge of conducting ASPICE audit at supplier end .
  • Knowledge of conducting software DFMEA & PFMEA .
  • Mandate to define the reporting and steering-relevant process, methods and tools.
  • Mandate to bring project management experience in deployment of technologies.
  • Ability to drive changes/improvements and implement them inside the organization.
  • Mandate to bring about technical clarifications within the framework of decision-making bodies (escalation if necessary) for the respective features/system.

Mandate to organise and conduct project status meetings at management level.
