Total Experience: 4+Years
Duration: 6 Months
Mandatory Skills: Azure IAAS & PAAS resources such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Functions. EventHub’s, Databricks and Data Factory etc., Azure Monitor and Defender
Location: Remote
Must-Have Skills:
1. Good Understanding on VPN Gateway – Site to Site Setups.
2. Good Understanding on Azure Networking – HUB and Spoke Model Landing Zone. VNet/Subnet. VNet Peering. NSG’s.
3. Good Understanding on Private Link Services/Service Endpoint Integrations.
4. Good Understanding on Azure Private DNS Zones.
5. Good Understanding with PaaS services integrations/connectivity for below Services –
- Azure DataLake Azure Storage Account. Azure DataFactory with SHIR configuration. Azure Databricks. Azure SQL. Azure EventHub. Azure Logic App. Azure Functions App.
6. Good understanding on SPN/Managed Identities.
Responsibilities:
1. Rapidly respond to escalated incidents, conducting thorough analysis for timely resolution.
2. Perform in-depth root cause analysis for recurring issues, working closely with Level 3 for permanent fixes.
3. Update and maintain knowledge articles to enhance team capabilities and prevent future incidents.
4. Participate actively in the review and implementation of changes to Azure resources.
5. Utilize Azure Monitor to proactively monitor resources.
6. Respond promptly to alerts, taking corrective actions to prevent service disruptions.
7. Identify and implement performance improvements based on monitoring data and user feedback.
8. Optimize configurations to ensure cost efficiency and resource utilization.
9. Collaborate closely with external vendors to resolve complex technical challenges.
10. Expertly provision, configure, and de-provision Azure resources.
11. Manage, monitor and optimize Azure IAAS, PAAS resource configurations for performance and cost.
12. Implement and monitor robust security controls for Azure resources.
13. Ensure strict adherence to organizational security policies and industry compliance standards.
14. Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery procedures for all PTP IAAS/PAAS resources.
15. Regularly test and update disaster recovery plans to guarantee data integrity.
16. Ensure all Monitoring controls/Matrix followed to monitor IAAS/PAAS resources within the PTP subscription.
17. Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
18. Leverage team collaboration tools for effective internal communication.
19. Lead regular team meetings to discuss ongoing issues, share insights, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
20. Establish efficient communication channels with external vendors for issue resolution.
21. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders during incident resolution to manage expectations.
22. Provide detailed incident reports through the designated incident management system.
23. Include comprehensive information on impact, resolution status, and preventive measures.
24. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including resolution time and adherence to SLAs.
25. Generate and share monthly performance reports with relevant stakeholders.
