Xiaomi India is seeking an experienced Product Specialist Trainer to develop and deliver high-impact training programs for our smartphone, TV, and IoT device range. The role involves creating detailed training content for new product launches, comparing Xiaomi products with competitor brands, and emphasizing Xiaomi’s unique selling points. The successful candidate will ensure promoters and sales teams have a deep understanding of Xiaomi’s product lineup and are equipped to articulate the benefits of our products versus the competition.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Content Creation:
o Develop training content for new product launches across the smartphone, TV, and IoT categories. o Create comparative analyses between Xiaomi products and competitor brands, highlighting key benefits and advantages. o Produce concise, visually engaging one-pagers for quick reference by sales teams and promoters.
2. Product Launch Training:
o Deliver comprehensive product training programs (both virtual and in-person) to ensure promoters are well-prepared for new launches. o Provide in-depth technical knowledge and use-case scenarios for smartphones, TVs, and IoT devices. o Ensure training materials are up-to-date with the latest product features and innovations.
3. Competitive Analysis:
o Conduct thorough research on competing products, comparing features, specifications, and pricing. o Develop content that clearly demonstrates how Xiaomi products outperform competitors in key areas like performance, price, and value. o Train teams on articulating these differences effectively to customers.
4. Simplified Communication:
o Create easy-to-understand, engaging training content for all audiences, from promoters to retail staff. o Develop one-pagers and other learning aids to distill complex product information into digestible formats. o Ensure training materials are accessible and engaging across all platforms (e.g., mobile, tablet, print).
5. Collaboration with Product and Sales Teams: o Work closely with the product development, marketing, and sales teams to align training content with product strategy and messaging. o Maintain regular communication with store and regional managers to tailor training to specific market needs.
6. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
o Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in smartphones, TVs, and IoT devices. o Gather feedback from sales teams and promoters to refine and enhance training programs continuously. o Monitor the effectiveness of training sessions by evaluating the performance of promoters and adjusting content where necessary.
Key Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in product training, preferably in the consumer electronics or technology industry. • Strong knowledge of smartphones, TVs, and IoT devices, including technical specifications, use cases, and competitive landscape. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex product information. • Proven experience in creating engaging training materials, including one-pagers and digital content. • Strong research skills to understand and evaluate competitor products and trends.
