The SAS Global Bid & Proposal Center of Excellence leads responses to customer solicitations, proactive proposals and due diligence questionnaires. We maximize win rates and financial return on bids and proposals for new and existing business by creating operational and selling strategies that complement each other. We employ recognized best practices to continuously improve quality and take advantage of information technology to maximize efficiency. We capitalize on the power of individual strengths to build a successful team that supports SAS’ mission. As an intern, you might:  Capture and coordinate best practices, including assets across global bid management. Support the global bid team in preparing and compiling bid documents, ensuring all requirements are met. Conduct research on potential clients, competitors and market trends to inform bid strategies. Organize and maintain bid documentation, including templates, past proposals and reference materials, Collaborate with various departments (e.g., sales, pre-sales, consulting, cloud, architecture, education, partners, legal and finance) to gather necessary information for bids. Review and proofread bid documents to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with client requirements.  Create or manage content repository for Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. Design graphics to convey win themes visually. Help organize post-proposal evaluations with internal and external team members. Help respond to customer’s due diligence questionnaires to meet cybersecurity and compliance requirements. Required Qualifications   Degrees: MBA, Bachelor's in Economics or Commerce, Bachelor's in Engineering Additional required skills and qualifications include strong strategic thinking abilities, creativity in problem-solving, and a commitment to meeting deadlines while contributing effectively as a team player. You have experience with Microsoft tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams), researching, creating graphics, persuasive writing; knowledge/content management, meeting facilitation, coordination of resources. You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are and influence everything we do.  Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.  Leadership abilities.
