We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon specializing in Soft Tissue and Orthopedic surgeries to join our dynamic team of experienced veterinarians. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine, with a focus on surgical procedures. This role requires exceptional surgical skills, a commitment to compassionate patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures with precision and expertise.Conduct pre-operative evaluations and assessments, including diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests, to determine surgical candidacy and develop appropriate treatment plans.Provide post-operative care and management, including pain management, wound care, and rehabilitation protocols.Collaborate with other veterinary professionals, including specialists, technicians, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care and positive outcomes.Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of surgical procedures, patient progress, and treatment plans.Stay abreast of advances in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques through continuing education and professional development activities.Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education opportunities to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.Demonstrate a commitment to client communication and education, providing compassionate support and guidance to pet owners throughout the surgical process.Adhere to established protocols, standards of care, and regulatory guidelines to ensure the highest level of patient safety and welfare.Uphold the values and mission of the veterinary practice, promoting a culture of integrity, compassion, and excellence in all aspects of service delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor/Masters of Veterinary Sciences (BVSc/MVSc) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in small animal practice, with a focus on soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.Proven expertise in performing a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to, cruciate repair, fracture fixation, and soft tissue reconstruction.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex cases and develop effective treatment plans.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client satisfaction and patient advocacy.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with professionalism and attention to detail.Dedication to continuing education and professional development, staying current on emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in veterinary surgery.Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, patient welfare, and compliance with regulatory standards.Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care.
