We aim to develop future-ready leaders who can harness the power of data, digital technologies, and critical thinking to address complex global challenges.Position OverviewThe School of Business seeks dynamic faculty members with expertise in Data Science, Applied Artificial Intelligence, and Business Analytics. The ideal candidate will integrate rigorous research, innovative pedagogy, and applied projects to bridge the gap between theory and practice in emerging technologies for business transformation.This role contributes to Woxsen’s strategic focus on AI for Business Impact, Digital Transformation, and Responsible Tech Leadership.Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Learning- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas such as:- Machine Learning & Deep Learning- Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics- AI in Business Decision-Making- Natural Language Processing & Generative AI- Data Engineering, Big Data, and Cloud AI- Develop case-based, experiential learning modules and live business labs.- Supervise capstone projects, applied research initiatives, and student consulting work.- Contribute to curriculum innovation aligning with NEP 2020 and global best practices.2. Research & Scholarship- Conduct high-impact research in applied AI and data-driven business strategy.- Publish in Scopus, ABDC, or FT50-indexed journals.- Lead or participate in interdisciplinary research clusters and industry collaborations.- Seek and manage external grants, consultancy projects, and funded research.3. Industry & Ecosystem Engagement- Build partnerships with AI startups, corporates, and research organizations.- Develop executive education programs and practitioner workshops.- Engage with government and policy bodies for AI ethics, sustainability, and governance.- Mentor students for hackathons, analytics competitions, and innovation challenges.4. Institutional Contribution- Participate actively in academic governance, school committees, and accreditation processes (AACSB, EQUIS, NAAC).- Support community engagement and Woxsen’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Innovation (CAII).- Contribute to the university’s vision for “Tech-Enabled Human Progress.”Qualifications & ExperienceEssential- Ph.D. in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field from a reputed institution.- Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML applications within business, finance, or management domains.- Strong teaching and mentoring record.- Evidence of scholarly publications and/or applied research output.Desirable- Industry or consulting experience in AI implementation, data strategy, or digital transformation.- Proven track record of funded projects or IP generation.- Experience with tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Power BI, SQL, AWS, or Azure ML.- Interdisciplinary orientation — combining AI with strategy, marketing, operations, or human behavior.- Global exposure through collaborations, visiting scholar positions, or conference participation.
