Job Title: iOS SDET – Medical Device Testing Experience: 5+ Years Location: Bangalore Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in medical device testing . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automated testing for iOS applications using XCTest/XCUITest with Swift or Appium with Kotlin , and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for iOS applications in the medical device domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies and ensure product quality. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing . Ensure compliance with medical device regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on iOS applications . Proficiency in XCTest/XCUITest with Swift or Appium with Kotlin . Strong understanding of iOS architecture , UI automation , and mobile testing best practices . Experience in medical device testing or working in a regulated industry . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Good to Have: Knowledge of regulatory standards such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 , ISO 13485 , or IEC 62304 . Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar. Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Understanding of Bluetooth, BLE , or IoT protocols used in medical devices. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
