Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

-Constructing and repairing boat decks, hulls, and other marine structures.
-Installing and repairing marine interior components, such as cabinets, seating, and fixtures.
-Inspecting and assessing the condition of marine structures to determine necessary repairs.
-Selecting and cutting materials, such as wood, fiberglass, or composites, to the required specifications.
-Using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, to complete tasks.
-Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
-Collaborating with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
-Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order.
-Following blueprints and instructions to complete tasks accurately.

Qualifications:

-Experience as a Marine Carpenter or similar role.
-Strong knowledge of marine carpentry techniques and materials.
-Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
-Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the marine industry.
-Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
