Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle OSM Consultant along with experience in and Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Oracle Service Management (OSM) and Java programming, working on the development and implementation of service order management systems and custom Java applications. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Oracle Service Management (OSM).
  • Customize and configure OSM to support service order processing, fulfillment, and automation.
  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications to integrate with OSM and other enterprise systems.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and design system solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of OSM and Java applications.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OSM with other business systems such as CRM, ERP, and billing systems.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues related to OSM and Java applications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Oracle OSM and Java development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience with Oracle Service Management (OSM).
  • Strong experience in Java development, including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience in integrating OSM with other systems using Java APIs.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and XML/XSLT.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  • Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
  • Knowledge of WebLogic Server and deployment of Java applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
